This page is about my journey, but my work is entirely about yours.
You deserve a fertility journey that feels clear, supported, and grounded in data not one spent lost in a medical maze.
I saw 18 doctors before I found my own "Square One."
Why I do this work.
Years ago, I was in a place many of my clients recognize immediately, trying to make sense of symptoms, test results, and a fertility journey that wasn’t adding up. My labs were called “normal,” but my body told a different story. And I couldn’t shake the feeling that important pieces were being missed.

Over several years, that search for answers led me to more doctors and specialists than I can count. Each one focused on a single angle , a lab here, a diagnosis there, but no one was looking at how everything connected. I wasn’t missing information; I was missing context.

That experience showed me something important: the medical system is very good at identifying disease, but it often leaves women without a clear understanding of how their bodies work or why certain patterns keep repeating.

Square One Health was created from that gap.

Today, I combine functional nutrition and fertility education to help women understand their cycles, labs, and symptoms as part of one connected system. We don’t chase quick fixes or isolated numbers. We step back, look at the full picture, and make sense of what your body is communicating so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

Now, I’m helping you skip the medical maze and find the functional answers you deserve because you shouldn't have to be a medical expert just to understand your own body.
A Different Way to Look at Fertility

Root-Cause, Not Guesswork
Instead of chasing symptoms or relying on “normal” labs, we look at what’s really going on underneath. Blood sugar, thyroid function, ovulation patterns, nutrient status. The foundational pieces that influence whether your body feels supported enough to conceive.

You’re Not Doing This Alone
Fertility can feel isolating, overwhelming, and confusing. This is a partnership. I help you make sense of your data, connect the dots, and decide next steps together, without pressure, fear, or one-size-fits-all protocols.

Evidence-Based Education
I translate fertility into human language. We break down cycle signs, labs, and hormones in a way that’s practical and usable so you’re not left Googling late at night or wondering if you’re missing something important.

Understanding Your Options
I help you understand what information matters, what questions to ask, and how to interpret the answers. Whether you’re working with a provider now or in the future, you’ll feel prepared, informed, and confident participating in your care.
I did the hard work of navigating that maze so you don't have to. My mission is to take the "18 doctors"of searching I did and turn it into the 'Square One' you’ve been looking for.
My Training and Approach
I’m a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor, trained in a root-cause, whole-body approach to health. My work is grounded in evidence-based nutrition, physiology, and systems biology with a focus on how blood sugar, hormones, stress, and nutrient status impact fertility.
I am a professional member of:
-
The American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP)
-
The American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners Board (AANWP)
This training allows me to support fertility from a functional, educational, and advocacy-based lens helping clients understand their bodies, interpret labs, and make informed decisions alongside their medical care.
Why Fertility Work Is Personal to Me
My work in fertility isn’t just professional, it’s deeply personal.
I know what it feels like to search for answers, to be told everything looks “normal,” and to carry questions that don’t quite get resolved in short appointments. That experience is what led me to functional nutrition and fertility care.
I don’t believe women should have to become medical experts just to understand their own bodies. My goal is to help you make sense of what’s happening, feel supported in the waiting, and walk into your next steps, whatever they may be, with clarity instead of fear.
A Little More About Me
I’m married to the love of my life, and together we’re raising our miracle boy, Desmond. Our son changed our lives long before he ever arrived. Becoming his mom reshaped me in ways I never expected, and it gave deeper meaning to every step of the journey that came before him.
My fertility path was painful, confusing, and stretching, but I’m deeply grateful for it. That road led me here, doing work I love with my whole heart: helping women feel seen, supported, and informed in their own fertility and cycle health journeys.
At 30, I made the decision to change careers and step fully into this work. It wasn’t the typical path, but it was the right one. I felt called to do this, not just as a profession, but as a way of serving women who are navigating seasons that can feel isolating and overwhelming.
Outside of my work, I’m a creative at heart. I love design, creating beautiful things, and bringing ideas to life. I also have two huskies who were my very first babies and still keep life full and loud.
My faith in God is central to who I am. It carried me through the hardest parts of my story and continues to guide how I live and work. I believe life is bigger than us, that we’re here to serve, to love people well, and to walk alongside one another with compassion and humility. That belief is woven into everything I do.
So glad you're here. Should you choose to work together or just start a conversation, know I don't take it lightly. I know how hard these journeys to health can be and I am here to help any way I can.
Your friend,
Stephanie
